at Grauman's Chinese 6 in Hollywood. Wonderful to see the film projected beautifully on the big screen, and in such 
a fantastic setting.

And now this passed holiday weekend, Greg Lamberson, who is a co-founder of the Festival, posted his list of top films for 2011 and ranked "Ambition Of Love" among his favorites...
"...this excellent noir which is broken into five short segments, crams a full story into 20 minutes, and packs a punch."

This means that the film is guaranteed a spot at the 8th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, being held August 9th - 16th 2012 in Los Angeles. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us! And thank you to the HollyShorts crew, including Daniel Sol, Theo Dumont & Nicole Castro, as well as David Branin & Karen Worden from Film Courage for their help, and Brian Durkin for putting us in touch with all those great people in the first place.

Thank you to everyone involved with the festival, and in particular Greg Lamberson, for thinking so fondly of our film. Getting into the festival, being nominated and then honored with the award has all been a great inspiration while working on new projects. 

And a huge congratulations to the cast and crew from “Ambition Of Love.” We all began production together just under a year ago, and this is a wonderful way to celebrate the anniversary.

We're screening in four cities around the world over the course of 9 days! It's definitely an Ambition Of Love first. Here's the rundown:

The 1st Annual Lucerne International Film Festival Showcase (Oct. 19th - 22nd)
The LiFF Showcase takes place in Lucerne, Switzerland and you can find more about the fest on Facebook here, and twitter here. We're ecstatic to have "Ambition Of Love" selected to be showcased for an international audience.

UPDATE: We've added German subtitles to the film exclusively for the Showcase. Definitely head to the LiFF if you ever wanted to learn how to say "forklift" in German (okay, it's "Gabelstapler"). 
You can also check out the German subtitled trailer. Pretty much the same as the original, but with more German.


The 11th Annual Cape May Film Festival (Oct. 21st - Oct. 23rd)
The Festival is held in Cape May, New Jersey and "Ambition Of Love" is scheduled to screen Saturday, Oct. 22nd at 10:30pm.

As New Jersey is the home state for myself and two of the actors in "Ambition Of Love," we're honored to be a part of this festival. And I think Vincent Pastore (aka Big Pussy) from The Sopranos might be there too, which should be reason enough to attend.

HollyShorts Monthly Screening Series (Friday, Oct. 28th)
"Ambition Of Love" will be screened as part of the HollyShorts monthly series at the Showbiz Store & Cafe. The address is 500 S. Sepulveda Blvd. 5-6 shorts will be screened. Drinks will be free. And tickets are $10. You can find HollyShorts info on Facebook here, and twitter here.

This will be the only screening in our four-city-world-tour that I can attend, and I hope to see some familiar faces there as well. Thanks to David Branin & Karen Worden at Film Courage, as well as Brian Durkin, for your help in making this one happen. 

The 2nd Annual Buffalo Screams Film Festival (Oct. 26th - Oct. 30th)
